Technical standards for GPR equipment

The following are the main technical standards in use in Europe, USA and Canada for emissions of GPR equipment.

In Europe the ETSI standards EN 302 066-1 and EN302 066-2 covers the requirement of article 3.2 of the R&TTE directive. Note that that only part 2 is published on the European Commission’s Official journal (OJ). Part 2 refers to pat 1 for all the technical details (methods of measurement and limit values). EN 301 489-32 is the EMC standard and covers the requirement for article 3.1b of the R&TTE directive. ETSI TR 102 554 is the code of practice for GPR/WPR.
